Honoring My Brother, Alan--8x8 Book

A couple of months after my brother died I determined that I wanted to make a book for his children so that they would always remember him. Since Alan's initials are ABC, it was a perfect lead in for me. Hence the title, ABCs of Alan Benson Curless.

This is the reason I am such a huge fan of Heritage Makers. I don't think I would have ever attempted a project of this magnitude in digital scrapbooking and the making of individual pages and certainly not in the traditional world of scrapbooking. Each of the children received their own copy of the book with a picture of them with their dad instead of the picture of Alan and me. I'm so pleased with how it turned out! (The design elements in this book are all from my friend Gina Cabrera's fabulous Parker kit at www.ddecd.com)
